Applying To Secondary School

If your child is due to start secondary school in 2019 you should have already received official notification of which school your child has been allocated a place.

Our transition visits for Year 6 students will take place on Thursday 4th, Tuesday 9th and Friday 12th July and you will receive further details in our Welcome Pack shortly.

Swanwick Hall School is following the Derbyshire County Council’s admission arrangements for community and controlled schools for the academic year 2020-2021.  Further details can be found here.

Arrange A Visit

If you are considering Swanwick Hall School, have already secured a place, or are as yet undecided on where to send your child then we would like to offer you the chance of a tour of the school during the normal school day. Jonathan Fawcett, Headteacher, Rebecca Green, Associate Headteacher or a another member of the Leadership Team will be available to show you around our facilities, discuss future plans for the school and advise on individual circumstances.

If you have mobility issues please advise us prior to your visit so that we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you.
