We are a school based firmly within our local community. We welcome all students from within that local community who aspire to meet our values and expectations to further strengthen and enhance our learning culture. We believe that all students have the right to a high quality education which meets their individual needs and prepares them for adult life. To this end, we are fully committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum which reflects the individual aptitudes and aspirations of all learners; in turn this is supported by an extensive programme of opportunities and experiences which expose students to the wider world and the exciting challenges and opportunities presented by the global 21st Century. We are resolved to ensure students’ safety, making their wellbeing our highest priority, and creating a learning environment and resources to underpin high quality learning. Our provision is delivered by a highly skilled staff who are committed to securing the highest possible outcomes for students. We place a high value on all members of staff and are committed to ensuring high quality professional development, good working conditions and positive relationships.
Our website is designed to provide all of the information that current students and their parents need whilst also giving a strong flavour of the school to prospective new students and their parents. We hold an Open Evening each September for children currently in Years 5 and 6 and in November for Year 11 students who are considering their post-16 choices.
However, we are always happy to welcome visitors during the school day throughout the year who want to have a look at the school. If you would like to arrange a visit, I, or one of my senior colleagues, would be delighted to show you round.
We hope that our website provides you with all of the information that you require, but if it doesn’t, please do not hesitate to contact my PA, Andrea Hollingsworth by email, email@example.com or by telephone, 01773 602106 extension 1032.
