On the 17th of May 2021, our Board of Trustees reviewed the closure of Swanwick Hall School’s lettings. After much deliberation they decided to keep everything closed until September 2021. This decision enables us to protect bubbles in schools, minimise risk and safeguard our community’s health and safety.

Additional traffic on our school site currently presents our staff with a number of challenges which have the potential to impact our students’ education. There are instances where spaces normally used for sports are being used to facilitate lessons and breaktimes. By continuing to keep our facilities closed to the public we are able to minimise any infection risk to students and staff.

At the point of reopening, we will liaise with our previous lettings to reinstate their bookings as quickly as possible. We look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so.

For information about the hire of our facilities, please speak to Louise Nicholls or email lettings@swanwickhall.derbyshire.sch.uk.

After Easter we're offering extra PE for Year 7. If you'd like to join, please go and change in the sports hall after period 5. Please note, there are no school buses when sessions finish at 4:20 so students are responsible for making their own way home. We hope to see you there!

I would like to thank all TTCT staff for their hard work this term, thank our wonderful students for their positivity and families for their support. We are one team The Two Counties team. #ambition #teamwork #honesty.
