The Physical Education Department aims to encourage a lifetime love of sport and keeping fit. It is structured to encourage participation and give students the opportunity to develop physically, mentally and socially through the use of physical activity. We provide a supportive but challenging environment for students to enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum of activities which provide opportunities to acquire and develop skills and apply them in competitive situations. We aim to improve knowledge and understanding of a Healthy active lifestyle and give all students an opportunity to participate in different roles and extra-curricular activities.
Physical education helps develop and maintain confidence, well-being and social skills that can be more difficult to achieve through other subjects.
