Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional to main school funding and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years. Schools also receive additional funding for children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months or are adopted from care or leave care under a Special Guardianship or Residential Order. An additional payment is also received for children of service personnel. The purpose of the Pupil Premium funding is to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
